BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
That the City of Bakersfield does hereby appropriate
the necessary amount of money, not to exceed thirty-five hundred
dollars (~3500,00), to be used for the purpose of increasing the
power of Radio Station KGPS up to 500 watts, if necessary, for
the purpose of furnishing radio service to the Kern County Sheriff's
Office and units of the California Highway Patrol, and to install any
technical equipment that may be ordered by the Federal Communications
Commlission, and for reasonable attorney's fees for an attorney in
Washington, D. C. to represent said City in the proceedings before
the Federal Communications Commission.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the ~~
