NO. 7-3~
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
as follows:
That it believes the rates charged for the use of water
for fire purposes are excessive, and that a hearing should be had be-
fore the Railroad Connnission of the State of California for a reduc-
tion of rates and/or an elimination of such charges,
And be it further resolved that the Commissioner of Public
Utilities and Franchises and the City Attorney prepare a complaint
for such purposes, and that F. W. Nighbert,'City Manager of the
City of Bakersfield· be and he is hereby authorized to sign said
complaint, verify the same and cause the sarae to be filed with the
Railroad Commission of the State of California.
