BE IT RESOLV~D BY THE COUNCIL 0.F THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
That any and all project applications under the Civil
Works Administration heretofore signed by either Ro H. Hubbard
or J. Holfelder be and the same are hereby ratified as fully and
completely as if heretofore authorized.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield

The Federal Administration attaches a great deal
of importance as to whether or not the persons signing
applications have full legal authority to do so- The° mere
fact that they hold an official position is not sufficient
proof-
Therefore, we would like you to obtain for this
office, certified copies of the resolutions, or other legal
documents showing that the various signatures appearing on
applications which you have submitted, carry full legal au-
thority. It will not be necessary to obtain a separate docu-
ment for each application, but we must have one for each in-
dividual who has signed, regardless of the number of times
his signature appears in our files.
Please attach to each document showing authority
of the person signing, a list giving the project numbers of
all applications which he has signed.
Your prompt attention to this matter will be appre-
ctated.
