WHEREAS, Mr. Martin Gundlach of the City of Bakers-
field during the Christmas Season very generously donated one
thousand pairs of shoes to the needy of the City of Bakersfield,
AND ~4EREAS, many other citizens of the City of Bakers-
field likewise made generous contributions to various charity
organizations,
NOW, TEEFOE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Bakersfield hereby extends its sincere thanks and
appreciation to Mr. Gundlach, and to the many other generous
citizens who contributed to this work.
MAYOR
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the ~__~ay of January,
1953.
