A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK OF THE CiTY OF BAKERSFIELD,
TO EXECUTE AN AGREE~IENT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD WiTH A. J. FEHGUSON,
FOR FURNISHING MATERIALS, LABOR AND DOING
THE ~0RK NECESSARY IN CAUSING TO BE PAINTED
THE EXTERIOR OF THE CiTY HALL OF THE CiTY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
~HEREAS, the Council of the City Of Bakersfield
is desirous of causing to have painted the exterior of the City
Hall of the City of Bakersfield, in accordance ~vith the plan and
specifications and the notice inviting sealed proposals, now on
file in the office of the City' Clerk of the City of Bakersfield;
AND W'HEREAS, it appears that A. J. Ferguson, was
the lowest responsible bidder for the doing of said work;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, does hereby' authorize and direct the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement on behalf of the City
of Bakersfield, with A. J..Ferguson, for the furnishing of labor
and equipment for the painting of the exterior of the City Hall
of the City of Bakersfield, as per agreement prepared and executed
by A. J. Ferguson, under date of ~c~ ~" , 1925.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED :,that the City Auditor of the
City of Bakersfield is hereby authorized and directed to draw a
warrant in favor of A. J. Ferguson in-the sum of One thousand four
hundred fifty dollars ($1450.00), when and at the time the City
Manager of the City of Bakersfield shall bequest the said City
Auditor, which sum represents the total contract price. for the
doing of said work, as provided in said contract.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
on the ~b day of October, 1925, by the following' vote:
