BE iT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
That that certain Quitclaim Deed, dated the ~4th day
of December', 1924, wherein M. J. Borgwardt and Etta Borgwardt, sell,
convey, remise, release and forever quitclaim unto the City of Bakers-
field, 'a municipal corporation, all their right, title and interest,
together with the rights a~d easements derived from the use of the
branch of the Araujo Ditch., situated in the County of Kern, State of
California and described as follows:
That branch or lateral of the Araujo Ditch described as
follow s: '
Beginning at a point in the Araujo Ditch ~6.V5 feet more
or less southerly from the northerly line of California
Avenue and running thence easterly on a line ZS.V5 feet more
or less from and parallel with the northerly line of California
Avenue a distance of 460 feet more or less; thence southerly
on a line parallel with the easterly line of Broad Street 78.75
feet more or less to the northerly line of Block 6, Borgwardt
Tract.
Be and the same is hereby accepted.
T~e Clerk of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
directed to have the said Deed recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Kern, State of California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution. was
passed ~nd adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
