A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF ~ND SPONSOR-
ING A NOVEN!ENT TO MAINTAIN AND CONSTRUCT
A GOVERNiviEI~T AIR PORT IN KERN COUNTY AT
OR NEAR THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
THAT WHEREAS, it has been suggested that it is possible
for Kern County to have a government air port, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Ci.ty of Bakersfield,
endorses such a movement,
IqOW THEREFORE BE iT ~NAlqIMOUSLY R,~OLVED that the
Council of 'the City of Bakersfield heartily and fully endorses any -
movement whose object it is to maintain and construct a goverDm~ent
air port in Kern County, at or near .the City of Bakersfield.
BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be mailed to the proper persons for circulation.
