A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ~AYOR
AND CiTY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AGREE-
~NTS ON BK~_ALF OF THE CIT,Y OF
BA!,(ERSFiELD WITH CERTAIN PROPERTY
O~VNXRS O~'~VNiNG PROPERTY NEAR THE
CITY OF BAKv;RSFi~I, LD FOR THE RENTAL
A~ND USE'OF A SE!JER CONNECTION WITH
THE OUTFALL HAIN SEWER SYSTEM OF
THE CiTY OF BAKERSFiELD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF B~;i4E,~RS-
FIELD, as follows:
~laereas certain property owners have connected their
private sewer line to the outfall main s~ver system of the City of
Bakersfield;
And Whereas, these property owners are desirous
of paying an annual rental for the use and privilege of the out
fall main sewer system as their property may be benefited by the
connection;
And Whlsreas, the City of Bakersfield is willing
that these property owners who 'own property near and about t_~e.-City
of Bakersfield have the use of the outfall main sewer system
provided the property owners who connect on to or who use the
outfall main sewer system pay for the use;
And Whereas, this Council believes that the
following rates should be established and used by any property
owner outside the City whose private sewer line is connected to
the outfall main sewer system of the City of Bakersfield;
The rate and charges tD be made are as follows:
For a three room house the sum of ~20.00 per year;
For a four and five room house the sum of ~25.00 per year;
For a six room house and over the sum-bf ~30.00 per year;

NOW THEREFORE BE iT ~ESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF B/~[ERSFIELD, that this Council does hereby autt~orize the Mayor
and City Clerk to execute agreements on behalf of tile City o~ Bakers~
field with property owners immediately outside the City of Bakers-
field who have connected their private sewer line to the outfall
main sewer system of the City of Bakersfield, in accordance with the
rates and table hereinbefore set forth, for the right to use in
connection with their property a part and portion of the outfall
main sewer system.

i HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of-the City of Bakersfield
