A RESOLUTION COMmEMORATiNG
TItE LI}~ AND ACTIVITIES OF
OUR DISTiNGUiSHED CITIZEN,
ALEX ~ARK.
~.~HEREAS, the Council of the' City of Bskersfield has
heard with. profound sorrow. of the death of our distinguished
citizen, Alex ~'~ark; and
~=~HENEAS, as a particular mark of respect to the mere'-
cry of the deceased and in recognition of his services as a
member of the ~City Planning Con~mission of this City and. the
services that be has rendered this community, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, iN commemoration of bfis public activi-
ties, desires t~e pass~e of an appropriate resolution as an
expression of its ~ratitude for the services t~at he has rend-
ered this City~ both. as a member of the City Planning CommissiOn
and as a citizen of the Oity of Bakersfield.
NOW, THE~iEFORE,' BE IT unanimously resolved, that it
is with the most profound sorrow and with the deepest regret
that this Council laments the demise of our late Alex Wark,
that this Council does sincerely appreciate and recognize the
services performed by him as a citizen of this co~}~munity amd
as a member of the City Plannin~~ Oom~}.ission.
BE IT t~UBrTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread
in full on the minutes of tills Council.
