A RESOLUTION ACC'EPTiNG GRANT CONTAintED

LIDA.S. ~E]~D, ELLA S)~ONER, ~iAY .STARK FOX,
CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY
0F B~-('~SFii~LD, FOR STREET PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THF. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
tt~IE~REAS, VIRGINIA S. BRUNDAGE, FRAYICES. PACKARD, LiDA
S. REED, ELLA 3TO~'~ER, and ~iAY STARK FOX, have executed a Deed
dated July 25th, 1923, wherein Virginia S, Brundage_, Frances
.S. Packard, Lida S. Reed,-Ella Stoner, and ~[ay Stark Fox, grant
certain lands to the City of Bakersfield, and have delivered
said Deed to the Oounc'il of the City of Ba~.rersfield, with the
request that same be used for': the purposes set forth' in said
Deed, said lands bein~ more pkrticuiarly described as follows:
(1) A parcel of la~ 15.~5 feet in width, lyin~ easterly
of and adjacent to the easterly line of Block 213 and
extending from the_ northerly line of 20th Street, north-
erly aton.~ the easterl~ line of said Block and the exten-
sion there-of, a distance 0f 313.5. feet.
(2) A parcel of land 15.~5 feet -in width, tyin~ easteriy
of and adjacent ~o the-easterly line of ~!ock 226 and

extenc]in~ from fi~e rthe
~ ~ ~r- y-line of 19th Street northerly
alon.~ the easterly li, e of said Block, a distince of 264
feet to the southerly l~n~_.5.~ 20th Street.
Said Blocks and streets a~e as shown on "l~?ip of the City
of Bakersfield, l~ern,Coun~y-, California,"' filed in the
office of the County Hecorder of KerR -C~nnty, California,
Noveiber 25 ,. 1898.
And ~hereas, said VZrginia S-. :BrU'ffdage, Frances S. Packard,
Lids S. Reed, Ella S~oner, and l~iay~ Stark FOx, have requested
that said land so ~ranted be deSicated for the use and m~.r~oses
of a public street.
NO?? THld~EFORE, BE tT RESOLgED: that this Council
does 'hereby a~ce~t said Grant if or and in 'behal~ of said-City,
and do hereby declare that said lands as described in said Deed
Be and the same are hereby dedicated a public street.
The Clerk of this CounciI is hereb.V authorized and
~irected to cause said Deed to be filed' for record in the office
of the oounty Recorder of Kern County, California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the fore~oin~ Resolution was
passed and adooted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
