RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ~.N
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD WITH E. W. WINTERS
FOR THE R~IOVAL, DISPOSAL, TRANS-
PORTING, COLLECTING AND RECEIVING
OF RUBBISH, GARBAGE, ASHES ~D STABLE
MANURE WITHIN THE CITY OF BAKErSFIELD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFiELD,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield is
desirous of entering into an agreement for the removal, disposal,
transporting, collecting. and receiving of rubbish, garbage, ashes
and stable manure within the City of Bakersfield,
AND WHEREAS, E. W. wINTERS of the City of Bakersfield
has offered to remove. dispose, transport. collect, and receive
all rubi~ish. garbage~ ashes and stable manure of the City of
Bakersfield under the provisions of Ordinance No. 127 New Series
and amendments thereto, relative to the accumulation, removal,
collection and disposal of rubbish. ashes, garbage and stable manure,
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that this Conncil does
hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement
on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, with E. W. WINTERS, wherein
and whereby the said E. W. WINTERS agrees to remove, dispose.
transport, collect and receive all rubbish, garbage, ashes and
stable manure of the City of Bakersfield under the provisions of
Ordinance NO. 12V New Series and any amendments thereto, upon the
said E. W. WINTERS furnishing a good and sufficient bond approved
by the Mayor and the City Attorney in the sum of five thousand
($5,000.00) dollars payable to t~e City of Bakersfield for the
faithful performance of the conditions, limitations and covenants bf
the said agreement.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced, passed and adoptgd by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, on the da of , 1922, by the
