A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING'GRANT OF CER-
TAIN REAL PROPERTY INTHE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
CONTAINED IN A' DEED EXECUTED BY LOUISA
DELLARINGA AS EXECUT~IX OF.THE ESTATEOF
CLEMENTE BORSI-DECEASED,-AND DIRECTING' THE
AUDITOR TO .DRAW A WARRANT TN PAYMENT THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as foliows:
~HEREAS', LOUISA DELLARINGA, the duly appointed, qualified
and acting executrix of the estate of. Clemente Borsi deceased,'has.
executed adeed dated the llth day of April, 1922, wherein and
whereby she grants certain lands and real property ~o the city. Of
Bakersfield, and said deed is ready for delivery'to said Council,
said land and real property'bei'ng more.partiCularly 'described as
follows:
'That certain tract of land situate in .the. Godey Tract, in' the
City of .Bakersfield: County_ of. Kern~ State of California, as shown
upon the Map entitle~ "Plat of :the _Godey Tract, being s part of
section 30 T. 29TM S. R. 28 E.:' filed in the. office of the County
Recorder of said Kern County on October 31, 1892,' and particnlarly
described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the' northerly line of 20th' Street,
as delineated on s aid Map, at the point of its intersection with the
segregation line dividing the Swamp and 0verflowed~Land from the
Government Land, in Section 30, Township 29 South, Range 28 East,
Mount Diable Base and Meridian;. running thence easterly along said
northerly line of 20th Street 13V.20. feet more or.less, to the
westerly side or bank of that certain water course ~nning through
the .E~
2 of said Sect'ion 30, commonly known aS and ealled the "Kern
Island Irrigating Canal"; thence northeasterly 'along the westerly
bank of the said Canal 124 feet, more or less, to the point of its
intersection with the southerly line of said alley running east
and west .through said~ Block number 216, as indicated on said Map,
'if said alley were extended westerly through Block number 215, of
said Godey Tract; thence westerly along said line of said alley, if
-extended,. 160.5 feet, more .or less, to said Segregation line; and
thence southwesterly, following. said Segregation line llV.62 feet,

· NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that 'thiS Council does
hereby ..accept the grant in said deed contained for and in -behalf'
of said City, subject however, to. the second-installment of taxes

AND BE IT FURTHER RES6LVED, that the AUditOr of the .City
of Bakersfield is hereby instructed to 'draw his warrant in payment
for the lands and real property-by' said-deed .so gran.ted and conveyed
the City 0f Bakersfield as follows:

the~duly appo~inted, qualified ~and
'Clemente Borsi deceased, in the sum of $~,800,00~
