RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED'.T0 LAND TO BE
' USED AS A PUBLIC HIGHWAY M,ID DEDICATING S~i~E
FOR A PUBLIC STREET ~D HIGI~,NAYo
BE IT RESOLVED'BY THE COUNCIL bF THE-CI~ ..OF B~aXERSFIELD,
as follows:
~HEREAS, the SeCurity-TrUst Company has executed a Deed
Signed by Arthur S. Crites, as Vice'p:resident, and 0.Ro Kamprath, as
Assistant Secretary, respectiyeiy of Said'.'S'eCurity Trust Company, cove~
ing its ownership in certain lands in East Bakersfield, and has delive~
ed-same to the Council'of theCity 'of Bakersf'i~ld., with the r'eqUest that
the' same be used for the purposes set .forth[ in said. Deed~ to-wit: a
public street, said 'strip of land being 'described as follows:
All of .the westerly twenty.'~ (20) feet of that 'certain unnumbered
Bbl0ck situate~in the Bernard A~dition to 'that portion of the City of on
akersfield, ·_ormerly known as the Town of'Kern -Shoe upon the
Revised MaD of .the Bernard. Addition· to Kern -flied in the office of
the County'Recorder of said· Kern Count on J[une 12, 189], as bounded
the north by_ the south-line of Del Monte Street', on the east by the
west line of King ~bStreet; on the south by $the north line of Arsene
Str'eet, and on the west by the east line of-Baker Street,- as sno,n upon

NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED: That this Co'uncil does
hereby. accept said Deed for and in behalf o'f said_' city, and do hereby
declare that said lands as described in said. Deed, be and the same.are
hereby dedicated for a 'public' street-andhighwayo
The Clerk of this Council 'is hereby' authorized and. direct-
ed to cause said Deed to be filed for record. in the office of .-the
County Recorder of Kern County, California.
