RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT CONTAINED IN DEED
RE~L PROPERTY TO THE CITY'~OF '
B.~ERSFIELD B,ID DIRECTING AUDITOR TO DRAW WARRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BPXERSFIELD,
as follows:
~EREAS, Claude Ferguson has executed. a deed, dated Decem-
ber, 13th, 1'920~. wherein he grmts'~ certain land to the City of Bakers-
field., and has delivered. said. Deed to the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, said land being more particularly described as follows:
All of lots A,B, and C, in the Subdivision of the SW ~
of Villa Lot "B" of the Lowell Addition., in the City of ~akersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, acc0rdimr to tne'i~ap of said
Subdivision, filed in the office of the Count~ Recorder of said. Kern
C~ounty.on gay 1, 1913, and. recorded in Book 2 of Maps, at page 64.
NOW THEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this Co,anc. il does
hereby accept said Gr,mqt for m~.d in behalf of said. City°
.BE IT' ~JRTFFR RESOLVED that the.auditor of the city of
Bakersfield is hereby instructed to draw his warrant on the Treasury
of said. City in favor of said. Claude Ferguson for $28.52 in payment of
the purchase price of the said. land.
The Clerk of this Council' is hereby authorized. and direct-
ed. to cause said Deed to be filed for record in the office of the
County R6cord. er of Kern County, California.
