BE IT RESOLVED BY T!.~E COUNCIL OF T~E CI~f' OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
WHEREAS, J.H. MPZLETT and HARRIET F. MPZLETT, his wife
have executed a deed, dated September '29th, 1920, ~.~nerein they gran~
certain land. to the City of Bakersfield., and have delivered said Deed.
to the Council of the City of Bakersfield, said land being more particu-
larly described as follows:
· Commencing at a ooint on the south line. of Twentieth
Street 290 feet west of northwest corner of Block 222, -as sho~m on
the ma~ of sai~ ity filed in the office of the County Recorde
November 2~ 189~ at the point of intersection with 'the west [ound-
ary line of'Kern is!rod csna! and running thence west on. the south
line of said street to a point 47.1 feet'~west of the intersection
of the east line of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of

hereby'accept saic] Grant for and in behalf of said City.'
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED tha.% the auditor'of the uity
of Bakersfield is hereby instructed to draw his warrsnt on the Treasury
of said City in favor of said J oH. Mallerr for $8, ~00.00~ in payment ~f
the purchase price of the sai~ lando
The Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to cause said Deed to be file~ for re¢o'r~ in the office of the
County ReCorder of Kern County, Ca!ifomia:-~
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the ~
