BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COL~qCIL' OF THE CItY OF BPZERSFIELD,
as follows:
Whereas, the COgNTY OF KERN, a Political Subdivision of the
State of California has tlnroagh its Board of Supervi~Srs caused a
Deed to be executed by H. I .. TUPMAN, as Chainsart of the Bo'ard of
SupervisOrs, dated October 20, 1919, wherein said Co~mty grants cer-
tain lan~s to the City of Bakersfield, with the request that same be
used for the purposes set forth in said Deed, said lands bein~ more
particularly described as follows:

And whereas said County has requested that said land so granted be
dedicated for the use an~ purposes of public streetso
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'.E RESOLVED: That this Council does hereby
accept said Grant for and in behalf of said City, and do hereby
clare that said lands as described in said Deed be and the same are
hereby decticated for public streets.
The Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and directed
to cause said Deed to be filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of Kern County, California°
I HEREBY CF:RTIFY that 'the foregofi~ Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Comncil of the City of Bakersfield on the/g]~_~
