BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B~XERS~tELD.
as follows:

signed. by H. J. Brandt, ,as ..~ '-President, an~ GEORGE HAY~ as
Secretary, respectively, of said· Brmadt Investment Company, covering
its ownership in certain lands in the. City of Bakersfield, and has
delivered same to the Council of the City of Bakersfield, together
with a plat showing the' location~of said lands plainly marked thereon
with the request that same be used for the purposes set forth in
said Deed, to-wit:

hereby accept said Deed for and in behalf of said City, and do here-
by ~eclare that sai8 lands as described in said Deed ~nd sho~n on
said plat be and the s~ne are hereby ~edicaLed for public streets.
The Clerk of 'this Coumcil is hereby authorized ~d. directed
to cause said. Deed to be filed for record in the office of the Comity
Recorder of Kern County, California.
