NO. 12-18
WHEREAS, John E. Graffius, City Clerk and Auditor,
has been called by Death into the Great Beyond; and
WHEREAS, through years of faithful and efficient
service to the City of Bakersfie/d, and by his genial and
pleasing personality, mid John E. Graffius, has endeared
himself to all with whom he came in contact, and especially
to this Council;
NOW THEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in testimony
of the high regard and. esteem we hold for John E. Graffius,
and evidence of the great loss his death is to the City of
Bakersfield., and in appreciation of his capable, efficient
and. faithful attention to the duties of his office, we d.o
hereby adopt these Resolutions, and direct that the same be
spread upon the minutes of this Council, and that a copy be sent
to the family of the deceased.
