HESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED AND DEDICATING
LAND FOR AN ALLEY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TE COUNCIL 0]? THE CITY 01~ BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
~.~{EREAS, a-deed to the property described as follows: Begin-
ning at a point on the east line of A Street, one hundred twenty-
five (125) feet north of the southwest corner of Block 10 , in the
West Park Tract, in the said City of Bakersfield, according to a
map of said Tract filed in the office of the County Recorder of said
Kern County, and recorded in Book 2, Page 6, of i~aps; thence east
one hundred thirty-two (132) feet parallel to the north line of
.Chester Lane; thence north twenty (20) feet parallel to the east
line of A Street; thence west to the east line of A Street one hun-
dred thirty-two (132) feet parallel to the north line of Chester
Lane; thence south along the east line of A Street twenty (20) feet
to the point of beginning, has been offered to the City of Bakers-
field for an alley,
NOW, TEEFOE, be it resolved that this Council does hereby
accept said deed for and in behalf of the said City and does hereby
declare that said tract of land be and the same is hereby accepted
and dedicated for a public alley.
The Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and directed
to co. use said deed to be filed for record in the office of the
County Recorder of Kern County, California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution lwas passed
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 18th day of June,
