RESOLUTION CREATING AND MAINTAINING A ~UND TO BE KNOWN AS
TEE CASH BASIS FUND: DIRECTING TIBa CITY AUDITOR TO SET ASIIIE A
SUM E~UAL TO TWO AND ONE-~HALF CENTS ON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
OF TEE ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN TEE CITY OF '
BAKERSFIELD, FOR SAID PURPO,°aE.

That there shall be, and the same is hereby~cre-rat;~d,a revolving
fund, to be known as the cash basis fund, for the purpose of putting
the payment of the running expenses of the 0ity on a cash basis| and
FOR THE PURPOSE of creating and maintaining said cash basis fund,
the City Auditor shall, and he is hereby directed to set aside for said
cash basis fund, a sum equal to. two and one-half cents o~n each one
hundred dollars of the assessed value of all the taxable property An
the City of Bakersfield, until the accumulated amount thereof shall be
sufficient to meet all legal demands against the City for the first
four months, or other necessary period of the succeeding fiscal year.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was passed by
the Council of the City of Bakersfield, the 2sd
October, 1916, by the following vote:
