Oposed vacation, which said hearing was held on the 5th diy of December, 1960, after notices were duly posted as required by law', and V~q'EREAS, this Council after dulyconsidering'the matter does hereby find and resolve as follows: " · .1. That that portion of:16th Street and.that portion of an · east and. west alley 33 feet in width sit~ite'in Block.325 in the City of Bakersfield which said portions of s'ai~ sfree't and alley are hereinafter designated as Parcel A 'and Parcel B, r'espectively, and which parcels are more particularly describedasfollows, ireun- necessary. for present or prospective public street purposes: PARCEL A A portion of 16th Street, situate"within'the. City of Bakers- field, County of Kern, State of California., as same is shown on the "Map of the City of Bakersfield" filed for record Novembers-25, 1898, in--Book the-office of the County Recorder'Of said Kern County,· and described. as follows: Beginning :at the Northeast corner 'of :Block 325,~ a point'on the southerly. boundary llne of saidl6thStreet; thence '2. l~ '.f""" northerly along the northerly. prolongation of the easterly boundary of said Block 325 to the Southeast' corner of Block 314, a point on 'the northerly b0undary.tine of said:16th Street; thence westerly along the last named northerly boundary line a distance of one (1) foot; thence southerly End parallel with the said northerly prolongation of the' easterly boundary of Block 325 to intersect the northerly boundary of said Block 325 a point on. the southerly boundary :line'of said 16th Street; thence easterly along last named southerly boundary line a distance of one (1)'foot t'o the Northeast corner of said Block 325, the point of beginning, and assaid 16th Street and said Blocks 314 and 325 are shown on said "Map of the City of BakerSfield." PARCEL B A portion of an east and west alley, 33 feet' in Width, .situate in Block 325, within the City of'Bakersfield, County of Kern, State'of California, as same is shown on the "Map of the City of Bakersfield`t, filed'fOr.-record November 25, 1898, in Book 1 of Maps at pages 13 .and 14 in the office of the County Recorder of said Kern County', and described aS follows: ... '- Beginning at the Northeast corner of 'Lot 8 in said Block 325, a point on the southerly boundary line. of said alley; thence northerly along the n0rtherl~ prolongation of the easterly boundary of said Lot 8 to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, in said Block 325, a point on the northerly boundary'line of' said alley; 'thence westerly along last 'named northerly bounda~ry line a distance'of one (1) foot; thence soUtherly and parallel with the Said northerly prolongation of. the easterly boundary of Lot 8 to intersect the northerlyboundary.
