RBSOLUTION OP THE COUNCIL OF THB CITY OP
BAKERSPIBLD, ORDERING THE VACATION OP A.
PORTION OP RENEGADB AVENUEIN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of November, 1960, the Council of the
City.of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vaca-

ways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 757, declaring its int. ention to order the
.vacation Of a=Portion of Renegade Avenue,,Ci'ty of Bakersfield,
California, and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all
persons· interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation-, which
said hearing was held on the 5th day.of DeCember.,1960, after notices
were duly. poSted as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering'the matter, does
hereby find and resolve as follows:
1o That that portion of Renegade AvenUe, .sitUate in the City
of Bakersfield,' County of Kern, State :of California, said Repegade
Avenue'bei,ng.a',portion of the'northweSt*quarter (No W.'l/4) of the'
southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4) of Section !5,. Township 29 South,
Range 28 .East, M. D. B. & M., County of Kern., California, more par-
ticularly described as follows., is unnecessary for present or
prospective public street purposes:
Beginning at the N. E. corner of the N. W, 1/4"of the S.
1/4 of said Section 15; thence S. 00°'04' 08" B., along the
Eo line of said N. W. 1/4 of the So B. 1/4, 813.020 feet
more or less~ to the true point' of beginning; said ,point of
beginning being the N. E. corner of that:certain parcel
conveyed to the City of Bakersfield as an easement for street
pur~_oses;-recorded in--~o:ak 323-1~--~p. 538 of Off:i~ia~.Records
in the office of the County Recorder.'of said County; thence
continuing S. 00° 04' 08" E.,.30o00 feet; thence S. 89° 31'
50u. W., 73.326 feet; thence N. 00° 00' 35" W., 30.00 feet.
to the point of intersection of--Boise Street and Renegade
Avenue as sho~n on map of Tract 2321, recorded in Map BOok
11, p. 38, in the office of the County'ReCorder of said
County; thence No 89° 31' 50" E., 73.'295 feet, to the true
point of beginning.
2. That said portion of'Renegade Avenuebe and the.same is
hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes,
'subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of Intention No.
757. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made for
further particulars.
3.- The City Clerk shall certify to '~he'passage ofthls
Resolution and shallcause a certified Copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk' under the seal of the City to be recorded .in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, CalifOrnia.
