HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 113-60RESOLUTION NO, 113--60 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Cityof Bakersfield, did, on the 2nd day of November, 1960, pass its resolution finding that the inclusion of an additional use,. to wit: Analytical Labora- tory, in a C-2 (Commercial) Zone~ would not be more obnoxious or detrimental to the welfare of the community than the permitted uses specifically mentioned in Section 17.27.020 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield has considered said matter and does find that the inclusion of said additional use. in said zone, as hereinabove set forth, will not be more obnoxious or detrimental to the welfare of the. community than the permitted uses specifitally mentioned in Section 17.27.020 .'of the .Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 17.52.040 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Council of said City does HEREBY. RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ARESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD RECOMMENDING A CHEMI- CAL AND ENGINEERING ANALYTICAL LABORATORY AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE C-2 (COMMERCIAL) ZONE. WHEREAS, a request for determination as to the operation of a chemical and engineering analytical laboratory in a C-2 (Commercial) Zone has been Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield; and received by the WHEREAS, at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of November, 1960, the Planning Commission made its recommendation and findings that a chemical and engineer- ing analytical laboratory whose operations are contained wholly within a building and whose operations are conducted so as to produce no fumes, odor; dust, smoke, gas, noise or vi- brations which are or may be detrimental to properties in the ne!ghbc~rhood or to the welfare of the occupants thereof, would not be more obnoxious or detrimental to the welfare of the community than the permitted uses specifically mentioned in Section 10.01 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010, New Series; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 'PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFiELD that, pursuant to Section 17.03 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010, New Series' it is the opinion of said Planning Commission that the inclusion of an additional use, to-wit: LABORATORY, ANALYTICAL, as defined above, in-a C-2 (Commercial) Zone will not be more obnoxious or detrimental to the welfare of the community than the permitted uses specifically mentioned in Section 10.01 of said Ordinance No. 1010, New Series.
