A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL 'OF .THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA., ORDERING THE VACA-
TION OF A PORTION OF THE INTERSECTION OF
CHURCH AVENUE AND ETON STREET, IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of September, 1960, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street
Vacation Act 'of 1941," being Division 9, part 3, (Sections 8300, Et.
Seq.) of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
passed and adopted its Resolution of IntentionNo. 755', declaring
its intention to order the vacation of a portion of the intersection
of Church Avenue and Eton Street, in the City of Bakersfield, State
of California, and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for.hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 26th dayof September, 1960, after
notices were duly posted as required by law', and
WHEREAS, this CoUncil after duly considering the matter, does
hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That that portion of the intersection of Church Avenue

and Eton Street situate within the City.of Bakersfield, County of
Kern, State of California, and'being a portion of the northwest.
quarter (N. W. 1/4) of Section 15, Township 29 South, Range 28 East,
M. D. M., describedas follows, is unnecessary'for present or
prospective public street purposes:
Commencing at the southeast (S. E.) corner of the north
half (N. 1/2!, of the northwest quarter (N. W. 1/4), of'
the northwest quarter (N, W. 1/4) Of said Section 15, and
as said corner is shown on the. map of TRACT NO. 2096
. recorded August 21, 1958, in Book l0 of Maps at page 38,

thence N. 89°~ ~l~"~]9~'E., along the center-line of Church
Avenue'a distance of 30 feet to the tr.ue point of be-
ginning of this description; thence continuing N. 89° ~1'
39" E., a distance.of 20 feet;' thence S. O0 18' 21"E., a
distance of 30 feet to the easterly end of~a tangent curve;
thence southwesterly along said curve, concave to the south-
east with a radius of 20 feet, through a central angle of
90° 60' 00", a distance of 31.42 feet, a point. on the easterly
boundary. of Eton Street of 60 feet in width; thence N. 0°~18'
21" W,, and parallel with. the center-line of said E~on Street
a distance of 50.00 feet to thetrue-point of'beginning, con-
taining an area of 685.84 square feet,..more·o'r less.
· 2 That said portion of the intersection of Church AvenUe and
Eton Street, be and the same is hereby closed up., vacated and abandoned
for public ~street purposes, subject to and in. conformity with said·
Resolution of Intention No. 755- ReferenCe 'to said Resolution of
Intention is hereby made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the Cityof Bakersfield, at a regular
