A RESOLUTION OF THF COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE VACA-
TION.OF AN ALLEY, LYING WITHIN BLOCK 6, IN
TRACT NO. 1009, IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, .on the 27th day of June, 1960, the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the 'provisions of the "Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941.," being Division 9, part 3, (Sections 8300, et seq.)
of the Streets and Highways Code ef the State of C'alifornia, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 753, declaring its inten-
tion to order the vacation of an .alley situate within 'the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and being a portion
of Section 19, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., and
WHEREAS, said Council di~ fix' a time 'and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to sai~ .proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 18th day of July, 1960, after
Notices were duly posted as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this Council after dul~~i~ering the matter, doe's
hereby find and resolve as follows:
I1. That ~hat alley situate in'the City of Balersfield, Calif-
ornia, County of Kern, State of California, and being a portion of
Section 19, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., described as
follows, is unnecessary for present or pr. ospective public street
purpose s:
All of that certain alley lying within Block 6 in'
TRACT No. 1009, and as said alley and said'Block 6,
are shown on the map of said TRACT No. 1009, recorded
November 15, 1935, in Book.4 of Maps at pages 56, 57
and 58, in the office of the County Recorde.~_ 9f _~er_n

2, That.said alley', being a portion of SectS_on 19, T0wn-
ship 29 South., Range 28 East, M.D.M., be and the. same is hereby
closed up, vacated and abandoned fo~' public street pu~p0ses, subject
to and in Conformity wi.th said Resolution of Intention No. 753.
Reference to said Resolution of Intention iS hereby made fol~ further
particulars ..
3. The 'City Clerk shall certify to the passage~ of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk, under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, CalifOrnia.
