A RESOLUTION A~NDING RESOLUTION NO. 40-~9'
~EREAS, on the 29th day of June, 1959, this Council.passed
a resolution being No. 40-~9, making appropriations for the govern-
merit of the City of Bakersfield for the fiscal year'..beglnning July 1~
1959, and ending June 30, 1960, adopting.a budget for.said fiscal
year and providing 'the necessary adjustments and.transfers of ap-
propriations within said budget, and
WHEREAS, since the passage of'said resolution~ it has been
found necessary and advisable to increase the appropriations of a
certain account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council 6f 'the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
That said Resolution No. 40-59, be and the same is hereby
amended by increasing the appropriation of the account hereinafter
set forth by the amount set opposite such account:
