IT ~S HERFBY RESOLVED, that the public. 'interest .and" convenience
.require the work described in Resolution.of Intention No. 749 t0. be
done, 'and' the council.of the City of Bakersfield hereby orders the .work
therein described' to be"done. Said 'work Shall be done.. in accordance
with the plan And'specifications therefor, here.tofore .appr6ved by '.this
.Council. For further particulars reference is hereby made to said
-ResOlution of Intention No. 749, plan .and specifications, all of which
,are on file 'in the-office oi' the City Clerk. "~'
The City Clerk of the City of BakerSfield i.s.hereby directed to
post a notice' referring to the specific'ations tt~'erefor, conspicuously
for five' days., on or near-the door of the' council Chambers of..the Council
Of tt~e 'City of-Bakersfield, inviting Sealed proposals or bids for
doing' the Work herein ordered. The. Clerk is also directed 'to, publish
a'notice inviting .such proposals and referring to the specifications
so posted'or on file, 'bwice in The Bakersfield Californian, a daily
newspaper publi'shed and Sirculatea in said City-and hereby.design~ated
for that purpose.
The. 6th day Of. June , 1960, is hereby designated and fixed
