RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0.32.60,
AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO
CANVASS THE RETURNS OF THE NOMINATING
MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR THE OFFICE 0F MAYOR
TO BE HELD ON JUNE 7, 1960.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
that Resolution No. 32-60 be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
1. The Board. of Supervisors of the County of Kern iS hereby
authorized tO canvass the returns of the Nominating Municipal Electipn
for the office of Mayor to be held June 7,' 1960, and tO 'certify the
result of the canvass of said returns to. the Council of the City of
· Bakersfield. '
2. If the said Board of Supervisors elects to have the County
Clerk .canvass- the ballots and returns of the State Primary Election
to be held june 7, 1960, ,said Board is further authorized to instruct
the County Clerk to canvass the ballots and returns of the ,Nominating
MUnicipal Election for the office of Mayor to be held on said'date,
and to certify the results thereof 'to the Council of the City of
Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the ,foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City cf Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of May, 1960, by the following vote:
