ON PETITION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS
FRONTING ON LOTS 24 THROUGH 33 AND +LOTS
TO 97, INCLUSIVE, OF TRACT 1817, ~THE·SAME.
· 'TO BE INCLUDED IN PROPOSED PUBLIC 'IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. '749, IN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE iT RESOLVED by the City Councilor '.the City 'of Bakersfield
that in regards to the improvements heroinafter describedj the
owners of more then sixty per cent (60%) of the area of'the..property
subject to assessments for the proposed-improVement Work have signed
and filed with the City Clerk of'-the City 'of Bakersfield, who is
the Ex-officio qlerk of the City Council of'the'.City of.Bakersfield,
the legislative:body undertakingsaid proceedings,. a written petition
for said improvements and a waiver of .the investigation and other
requirements provided by the SpeCial AssesSment Investiga;ti0n',
Limitation and. Majority Protest Act of-1931, in C'0nnection"with said
proposed improvement work and construction·. .The said improvement
work and ~onstruction to be done in said City of Bakersfield~ is
described as follows, to wit: '
