WITHIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "COLLEGE HEIGHTS · NO 8" PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO THE' CITY OF . BAKERSFIELD ,. WHEREAS, a petition was ·filed with the Council of t~e City of Bakersfield on the 16th ·day of· March ,· 1960, .re'questing that. certain uninhabited territory therein described be annexed to and incorporated within the City of Bakersfield, and · WHEREAS, said petition was signed by the owners of all of 'the territory proposed to be annexed. · . NOW, THEREFORE, in compliance with the provisions of the, Annexation of-Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, Chapter 297, as amended,. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: -' That the boundaries of the territory sO p~oposed to be annexed to the C~ty-0f Bakersfield ape described as f011ow~.: A parcel. of'land situate in the County of Kern, State~ 0f California, and being a portion of' the southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4) of Section 15, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M.; Beginning at the southwest (S. W.)corner of the northeast', quarter (N. E. 1/4), of the southeast'quarter (S-~ E. l/S) of said Section. 15, ~a point on the current corporate. boundary of the City of .Bakersfield; thence No 0° 04' 08" W., 'along the. westerly boundary 'of the northeast' quarter (N. ~E. I/~),, of the southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4), of said Section 15, on and along said Corporate boundary as same is defined .by that certain annexation designated as "College?
