THE SAME TO BE PROPOSED AS PUBLIC IMPROVEI~ENT
DISTRICT N0. 749, IN THE CITY'OF BAKERSFIELDo
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bakersa
field' that in regards to the improvements hereinafter described,
the owners of more than sixty per cent (60%)' of the area of the
property subject to assessments for the proposed improvement work
have signed and' filed with the City Clerk of .the City of Bakers-
field, who is the Ex-officio Clerk of .the City Council of the City
of Bakersfield, the legislative body undertaking said proceedings,
written petitions for said improvements and a waiver of the investi-
gation and other requirements' provided by the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act .of 1931, in
connection with said proposed improvement work and construction.
The said improvement work and construction to be done in 'said City
of Bakersfield, is described as follows, to wit:
The construction of sidewalks fronting on
Lots 17 to 29, inclusive, Lots 3.0 to 42,
inclusive, Lots 75 t'o 106, inclusive, of
Tract 1397, and Lots 131 to 140, inclusive,
and Lots I to 54, inclusive, Tract 1530,
City of Bakersfield, California.
The construction of sidewalks fronting on
Lots 55 to 108, inclusive, of Tract No.
1530, and Lots 43 to 74, inclusive, of Tract
