RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF ESTIMATE
OF COST, DISTRICT.MAP, AND PLANS AND SPECI-
FICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF T.HE CONSTRUCTION
AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTROLIERS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF .LIGHTING STREETS IN THAT CERTAIN
AREA BOUNDED ON THE NORTHWEST BY PANORAMA
DRIVE, ON THE SOUTH BY' MONTE VISTA DRIVE,
AND ON THE EAST BY' LOMA LINDA DRIVE, SAID
AREA ALSO BEING KNOWN 'AS TRACT N0. 1609,
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, THE SAME
TO BE PROPOSED AS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
N0. 747. .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield has
duly found and determined that the o~ners of more than sixty per
cent (60%)Of the area of the property subject to assessment
signed and.duly filed a written petition for improvement work
hereinafter described, as evidenced'by Resolution No. '7-60
of.this City Council of said City.
-. NOW, THEREFGRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the City Engineer of.the said City be,
and he is hereby. ordered and directed to prepare an estimate of
cost of, map of the district to be benefited by, and plans and
specifications for, the following improvement work and construction
to be done in said City of Bakersfield, to'wit:
The con. structionof poles, posts, wire, pipes,
conduits, tunnels, 'lamps.and other suitable or
necesss.ry appliances for the purpose of
lighting streets in an area bounded-on the
northwest by Panorama Drive, on the south by
Monte Vista Drive, and on the east by Loma
Linda Drive, such area .also. being known as'
Tract No. 1609, City of Bakersfield, California.
That all of the above'improvement work and construction shall
be of' the sizes and dimensions and done in the manner and places
~ ~~ ~ ,'~
and to the grades as shown and indicated on the plans and specifi-
catton~ therefor to be approved and' adopted' by' this City 'Council
of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and.adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the .lst day.of February, 1960, by the
following vote:
