RESOLUTION OF FINDING AND DETERMINATIONS
ON PETITION FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLA-
TION OF ELECTROLIERS FOR THE PURPOSE 0F
LIGHTING STREETS AND OTHER PLACES IN THAT
CERTAIN AREA BOUNDED ON THE~ NORTHWEST BY
PANORAMA DRIVE, ON THE SOUTH BY MONTE VISTA
DRIVE, AND ON THE EAST BY LOMA LINDA DRIVE,
SAID AREA ALSO BEING KNOWN AS TRACT NO. 1609.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
that in regard to the improvements hereinafter described, the owners
of more than sixty per cent (60%) of the area of'the property subject
to assessments for the proposed improvement work have signed and filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, who is the Ex-0fficio
Clerk of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, the 'legislative
body undertaking said proceedings, a written petition for said improve-
ments and a waiver of the investigation and other requirements provided
by the Special-Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931, in connection with. said proposed improvement work and
.construction. The said improvement work and construction to be done
in said City of Bakersfield, is described as follows,. to wit:
The construction of poles, posts', wire, pipes,
Iconduits, tunnels, lamps and other suitable or
necessary appliances for the purpqse of lighting
streets in an area bounded on the northwest by
Panorama Drive, on the~south byMonte Vista Drive,
and on the east by Loma Linda Drive, such area
also being known as Tract No. 1609,
the same to be proposed as Public Improvement District No. 747.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 25th day of January, 1960, by the follow-
ing vote:
