municipal corporation, has an organized fire department.in Operation
and existence which is providing adequatestructural'fire protection

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Sf Bakersfield
does· hereby petition the Board of'Supervisors of the County. of Kern
for the exclusion·of all property within the:Corporate limits Of the
City of Bakersfleld from the.levy Of:taxes fOr"structuralfire pro~
tection in said incorporated area.for.the fiscal year 1960'196i, and

adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
