RESOLUTION OF' INTENTION TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE
GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT '
CERTAIN TERRITORY ANI) SETTING, THE TIME AND PLACE
FORBEARING OBJECTIONS TO THE INCLUSION OF SAID
TERRI,TORY WITHIN SAID DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, proceedings have beencommence,d for the'annexatioI;l
of certain unincorporated teri:-ttory to:the City of Bakersfield, arid
WHEREAS, all of said ~erritory lies outside the Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade ,District" and,
WHEREAS, Section 8290 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, provides that'the unincorporated territory
of a county which was not included within a separation of ~ade
district at the time of the formation of Su.c~, d:tstrict,.andwhich
subsequent to the formation of ,such district is annexed to or other-
, '
,wise included within a city which is a part of such distriC?t, shall
immediately upon such annexation to such city be included within
the district and shall thereafter become a 'part of the ,district to
the ,same extent as such city; except such porti.on or portions thereof
which the City Council has determined, will not be benefited by
inclus.ion in the district.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
1. That a description of the unincorporated territory
described in the annexation proceedings ,is as follows: .
