RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO' INCLUDE WITHIN. THE
GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE' DISTRICT
CERTAIN.'TERRITORY AND SETTING THE TI~ .AND PLACE
FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO THE.INCLUSION OF SAID
TERRITORY WITHIN SAID DISTRICT..'
WHEREAS, proceedings have been commenced for the a.nnexati0n
..of·certain unincorp6rated territory. to the 'City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, with the ·exception of.'a Small parcel o~ Said
territory, which'is already a part of the Greater Bakersfield
Separation of Grade 'District, all. of·said territory lies:oUtside
t~e.said DiStrict, and
~ER~IS, Section 8290 of the Streets· End Highways Code of
the State of California, provides that ~he unin0orporated territory
of~ a ·'county which was not included within~ a 'Is~paration of kgrade ·
district at the·tirae of the formation o~ such district, and ~hich
subsequent to the' formation of ~uch~ district is annexed· to or other-
wise included within a city which is .a .part off.such'district, shall.
iramediately Up-on such annexation to suc~ city be included within
: the district-and shall thereaf~er.become'a'part of. the district tO
the same extent as such city; 'except such portion or'porti0ns'..ther~0f '
which the City·Council has determined., will not bebenefited.by '.
