RESOLUTION OF THE CITY LCOUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, ORDER-
ING WORK IN THE MATER OF THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF CHESTER AVEh~jE BET~EEN 4TH STREET
A~D 660 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE 0F
TERRACE WAY IN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 740 IN SAID CITY
The City Council of the City of Bakersfield, State of
California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act
of 1911", 'being Division VII of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, does resolve as follows:
The said City Council of said City does hereby order
the following .work to be done and improvements to be made in
said City, to wit:
The improvement of Chester Avenue between
4th Street and 660 feet South of the Center
Line of Terrace Way, said improvements to
consist of the following: the removalof the
· . eydsting pavement and reconstructing 'and
resurfacing of street~ the removal and re-
placement~ ·of portions of the existing Port-
land cement concrete curbs,'·gutters, sidewalks
and· driveways; the removal and replacement of
existing drainage structure,
the same being in Public Improvement DiStrict No. 740 in said
City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield on the 6th day of April, 1959, by the following vote:
