RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, OVER-
RULING PROTESTS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 740 CONCERN-
ING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENT WORK IN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 740 IN 'SAID CITY
WHEREAS, certain protests were filed protesting
against the doing of the work and improvement involved
in and in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 740
or against the assessment district; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully considered
the protests and objections and have considered the ares of
the district represented by said protests,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this City Council
of the City of Bakersfield that it does hereby find. and de-
termine that said protests and objections have been made by
the owners of less than one-half of the abea of the property
to be assessed for said work and improvement, ss set forth
in said Resolution of Intention No. 740; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each and all of the said
protests and objections be, and the same are hereby, over-
ruled and denied.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the Resolution contained in the
above was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Bakersfield on the 6th day of April, 1959, by the
following vote:
