WHEREAS, on July 21, 1958, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield passed its resolution being No. 47-58 entitled:"Resolu-
tion Ordering Preparation O~Estimate of Cost, District Map, and
Plans and Specification in the Matter of the Improvement of Lakeview
Avenue and the intersections of all Intersecting Streets Between the.
Northern Boundary of the Southern Pacific Railway Asphalto Branch
Right of Way and the NorthLine of TenthStreet within the Proposed
Public Improvement District No. 737, in the City of Bakersfield,
California"' and
WHEREAS, it is' the intention of the City Council to widen
and improve said LakeView Avenue and said intersections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, thatlsaid improvement is in the public interest and
convenience and requires the acquisition of certain properties
bordering Lakeview Avenue for the aforesaid purpose of improving
said LakevieW Avenue.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adoptedby the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 9th day of February, 1959, by the following vote:
