HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 79-58 i i . , I i ~~ ';. ~.~...-, I RESOLUTION NO. 79-58 RESOLUTION ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE PREVAILING RA TE OF WAGES TO BE PAID TO CERTAIN CRAFTS AND TYPES OF WORKMEN EMPLOYED ON PUBLIC WORK IN THE CITY OF BAKERS- FIELD, CALIFORNIA, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 96. ~WBEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, o~ the 8th day of January, 1951, pass and adopt Resolution No. 96, asoertaining and determining the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to eaoh craft and type of workmen em- ployed on public works in the City of Bakersfield, Cali- fornia, and WHEREAS, since the date of saId resolution, the pre- vailing rate of wages in the oommunity for certain orafts and types of workmen has ohanged. 1. " . . e - '.. 1 ] (Revised 5/1/58) 1958 - 1959 WAGE SCALES FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES "-" The wage rates listed below are in accordance with the terms of the South- ern California Master Labor Agreement for the Construction Industry and cover the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Inyo and Mono. ADDITIONAL COST ITEMS: For Subsistence Allowances, Transportation and Travel Time Allowances, Paid Vacations, Apprentice Program Contributions, etc., contact the Local Union or its District Council having jurisdiction. RIGGERS and WELDERS FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES: Same wage scales as crafts to which rigging and welding are incidental.
