SUPPEEMENTARY RESOLUTION TO JOINT RESOLU-
TION +DIRECTED TO THE HONORABLE G. T. McCOY,
STATE HIGHWAY ENGINEER, CONCERNING RELOCATION
OF STATE ROUTE NO. 58 FROM TOWER LINE ROAD
WESTERLY TO STATE ROUTE NO.
WHEREAS,' the~ Council of the City of Bakersfield has adopted
a Joint resolution with the Board of SuperVisors of the County of
Kern directed te the Honorable G. T. McCoy, State .Highway Engineer,
concerning relecation of State Route No. 58 from Tower 'Line Road
westerly to State Route No. 4, and
This Council desires t0 supplement the aforesaid resolution
by retaining to the said City certain rights in connection with real
proper.ties owned by said City.
NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of .the City of
BakerSfield, that it i.s not the intention of the City COuncil, nor
does said City Council on behalf of the City, waive any rights which
the City of Bakersfield has as property owner in fee of any property
over which a freeway may traverse.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City' of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 29th day of Sept+ember, 1958, by the following vote:
