RESOLUTION ORDERING OPINION OF HE~TH
OFFICER SPREAD UPON THE MINUTES, AND
DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF SEWERS AS
A HEALTH MEASURE IN THE MATTER OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 739-
WHEREAS, William C. Buss, Health Officer of the County
of Kern, performing the duties of Health Officer in the City
of Bakersfield, has 'certified to this Body that in his opinion
the installation of sanitary sewers in the area within the City
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, known as
Public Improvement District No. 739, is necessary as a health
measure, and has recommended to this Body that assessment pro-
ceedings be instituted for the installation. of sanitary sewers
in said area, by letter to this Body dated September 16,1958,
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield has in-
vestigated the matter and is fully advised in the premises.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
Section 1.
That the said Letter of the Health Officer of the County
of Kern, hereinabe~ve referred to, be spread upon the minutes of
this Body, in full.
Section 2.
That this CoUncil hereby finds and determines that the
construction of sanitary sewers in Public Improvement District
No. 739 is necessary as a health measure.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
at a regular meeting thereof.held on the 22nd day of September,
1958, by the following vote':
