WEREAS, a petitien:Was filed with the COuncil of the City.
of Bakersfield on the 2~th day 'Of July, 1958, requesting that cer-
tain uninhabited territory 'there~i~ described'be ,annexed to and in-
.corporatedwithtn the 0ity e~.-Bakersfteld, and thereafter said Council
did set September 2, 1958, as~.~9 date for hearing protests against
said annexation and delignating'Said uninhabited territory as

... WHEREAS, by Res~'lU~io~ No. 56-58, this Council did terminate
the proceedings for sai~ annex~%ion, and

NOW, THEt~EFORE,-BE" IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, that this Council finds that no protests have been made to
or fiI'ed with this CoUncil in 'said proceedings.
' I~HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing. Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Councilor the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
