WHEREAS, the Chief Bui~!ding Inspector of the City of
Bakersfield, by letter dated February 26, 1958, addressed to the
May.r and City Oouneil and filed with this Council, has requested
authorizations'to'destroy certain public records designated therein,
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his consent in writing
to such destruction, and
WHEREAS, such records have served their purpose and are
no longer required, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the r'ecords which the Chief Building
Inspector desires todestr.yare more than five years old and of
the type permitted to be destroyed pursuant to the provisions of
Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of Califcrnia~
NOW, TEERE?ORE, BE IT RESOLFED that pursuant to the pro-
visions of Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State cf
California, authorization is hereby given to the Chief Building
Inspector to destroy the public records designated in .his letter E~led
with this Council.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the 0ouncil of the Cityof Bakersfield at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 3rd day .f March, 1958, by the following vote:
