RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOL~TION N0.11-57
WEEREAS, on the 4th..day of MaTch, 1957, the Oo~noll of
the;Oity of Bakersfield .'did pass .and adopt Resolution'NO. 11-~?,
proposing the annexation ~of cer'~aln un, ir/~abtted territory to the
01ty of !Bakersfleld and setting a time for hearing pro'tests thereon~
and
WHEREAS, it has been'found that all of the owr~ers of property
embraced within the ~erritory as set forth in said Resolution No. 11-57,
have not signed the petition requesting ema~exation, and that the
annexation of uninhabited territory act has been amended and does now
require certain notices to be given when all of' the owners of property
in the territory proposed to be annexed, have not signed the petition
or consent to said annexation, and it is necessary. that a new date
be set for the hearing on said proposed annexation for the purpose of
giving the required notices.
-NOW, TR1~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, that Resolution No. 11-57 be and the same is hereby
rescinded and set aside.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
~nd adopted by~he Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 8th day of April, 1957, by the following
