RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS
AND GUTTERS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS ON BANK
STREET, L STREET A~N) N STREET IN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 724, IN SAID CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield did
adopt Resolution of Intention No. 724 for the improvement of
Bank Street, L Street and N Street in Public Improvement District
724; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to proceeding had and takenby said City
Council under said Resolution of Intention No. 724, a contract was
entered into by and between MOWCON CO., as contractor, and J.
HOLFELDER, as Director of Public Works of said City, for the
construction of said improvements; and
:{HEREAS, the Director of Public Works prepared, signed and
filed with the City Clerk his assessment covering the costs and
expenses of the contruction of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment has been
duly and regularly given by publication, posting and mailing, as
required by law, and said notice fixed the 14th day of January,
1957, at the hour of eight o'clock (8:00) P. M. and the chambers
of the City Council, located in the City Hall in the City of Bakers-
field, as the time and place when and where all persons, interested
in the work done or in the assessment, would be heard by the said
City Council; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE~ DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
That after a fair and impartial hearing having been granted
to all persons desiring to be heard in the matter of the said
improvement, described as aforesaid, in Public Zmprovement District
No. 724, and all objections presented, having been heard and fully
considered, and the City Council being satisfied with the corrsct-
mss and ~rness of the assessment and diagram, it is hereby deter-
mined that all appeals or objections be overruled and denied
and that the assessment and diagram, together with the proceedings,
be confirmed and approved and that the Director of Public Works shall
forthwith attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of
this resolution of the City Council.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, Cali-
fornia, on the 14th day of January, 1957, by the following vote:
