for the Oounty ot Xern,and recorded in the office of the Clerk of
said Oourt in Beek 103 of J1idgments, page 49, confl:rm1ng the sale
of Lots 8, <) and 10 inBleck':~64, in the Oi ty of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, state ot Ca1itornia, as per map recorded No~embsr 25, 1898,
in Book 1, pe.ges 13 IUld 14, in the office of the County Recorder of
said Oounty, to the 01ty of Bakersfield, for the sum of $27,500.00
cash, and
WHEREAS, since said date, Fred ~. Andrews, as sole heir
at law of the deceased .a well a8 sele owner of said property, desires
to change the termsot a.le ot.said property' in orde~ to retain a
life estate therein, ....d will petition the Com-t tor an order 1'e-
seinding and canceling said aforementioned order eonti~1ng sale, and
WBEREJ.S,thi8 Oouneilia willing to consent to such cancel-
lation and relcission and to enter into a Contract for Rescission
of Probate Sale, whereby the City of Bakersfield will pay to said
Fred !. Andrews, the s_ of 123,5'00.00 cash for said property, under
term. and conditiens more tully set forth therein.

ot Bakerstield, as tollows:
