RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF CURBS A.ND
GUTTERS ON DOLORES STREET BETWEEN THE CENTER
LINE OF BEALE AVENUE ~ND MILLER STREET AND
IMPROVEMENT OF CURBS A.ND GUTTERS ON OVIENS
STREET, GAGE STREET6 ROBINSON STREET, EAST
HALF OF BEALE AVENUE AND THE \'JEST HALF OF
MILLER STREET, BETlfJEEN THE NORTH LINE OF THE
ALLEY TO THE NORTH OF DOLORES STREET AND THE
SOUTH LINE OF THE ALLEY TO THE SOUTH OF
DOLORES STREET WITHIN THE PROPOSED PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 726, IN, THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, Ci\LIFORNIA

\iHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, California,
in compliance with the order of this City Council of said City, has
submitted to this City Council the estimate of the cost of, the map
of 'the district to be benefited by, and the plans and specifications
for the improvement work and construction hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, after consideration thereof this City Council desires
at this time to adopt and approve the said plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this City Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the plans and specifications as prepared by the
City Engineer of the said City, which were submitted and filed with
the City Clerk of said City this 4~ day of ~2"--:}J , 1956,
be and the same are hereby adopted and approved as and for the plans
and specifications for the following improvement work and construction
to be done in the City of Bakersfield, to wit:
The improvement of Dolores street between the
center line of Beale Avenue and Miller street,
and the improvement of Owens street, Gage'
street, Robinson street, East Half of Beale
Avenue, and the West Half of Miller street,
between the North Line of the alley to the
North of Dolores Street and the South line of
the alley to the South of Dolores street, said
improvements to consist .r the following: The
construction of concrete curbs and guttersJ
including curb return gutters and cross gutters,
and the removal of any existing substandard curbs
and gutters.

That all of the above described work and improvement shall be of
the sizes and dimensions and done in the manner and places and to the
grades as shown and indicated on the plans and specifications here-
with adopted.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
5th day of November, 1956, by the following vote:
