RESOLUTION EMPLOYYNG ATTORNEYS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the City of Bakers-
field to retain the firm of O'Malveny and Meyers as attorneys to be
associated with the City Attorney in representing the City of Bakers-
field, the members of the City Council, and officers of the City, in
that certain action entitled Jaks Vanderlei vs City of Bakersfield, et
al, upon the terms and conditions set forth in the letter from OtMalvony
and Meyers, dated October 5, 1956, here in on file.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field, that the firm of O'Malveny and Meyers is hereby employed upon the
terms and conditions set forth in said ]~cter hereinabove referred to.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing 'Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the' 8th day of October, 1956, by the follo~¢ing vote:
