WHEREAS, on the';i6th day of July, 1956, this Council passed
and adopted a Resolution being 'No. 41-56, making appropriations for
the government of the City of. BakerSfield for the fiscal year beginning
July l, 1956, and ending Junef:j:~', 1957~ adopting a budget for said
fiscal year;and providing for necessary adjustments and transfers of
appropriations 'within said budget, and
~S, since the adoption of said Re'solution, said City
has takon over the operation and maintenance of the Bakersfield Transit
System, and it is necessary to appropriate and allocate sufficient
funds for the maintenance and o~ration thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as followS:
1. That said Resolution No. ~1-56 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following appropriation:
